Here is a hearty meal that is easy to make and great to eat!

Sharon's Crockpot Chuck Roast!

4-5 pound Chuck Roast
1 cup of red or rose wine. (Non-alcoholic, use apple juice!)
1/4 cup of vinegar
1 cup of tomato ketchup
1/2 cup of brown sugar
2 teaspoons of tobasco sauce
1/2 onion chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Seasoned salt
1 teaspoon of curry powder
Olive oil - 2 tablespoons

Take chopped onions and simmer in olive oil on high until slightly soft. Put in roast and cook only to brown each side. Put roast and onions into the crockpot. Rub curry powder and salt and pepper into browned roast. Mix together remaining ingredients to make sauce and pour over roast. Cook in crockpot on low for 10-12 hours, or cook on high for 5-7 hours. Put baked potatoes in the oven when you put the roast in the crockpot and use the delay cycle or just turn the oven to 350 one and a 1/2 hours prior to the roast being ready. Toss a salad, put on some biscuits and you will have a hardy meal fit for a husband and two hungry sons after a day of football!
